4 Little Puppies

As most of you already know our dogs had 4 cute little puppies, 1 monster boy and 3 adorable girls.
Dixie is such a good mommy and has taken complete care of all her puppies. She loves them so much! And of course Dink doesn't want anything to do with them. He'll play with them for awhile but then just growl at them when they all pile up on him.
So this is Hippity Hop (she doesn't walk, she hops wherever she goes) when she was only a day old. Soooooo tiny!!!!

Here's a few more recent pictures. She's my snuggle bug and just wants to be with me everywhere I go. If I am doing dishes she's there sleeping on my feet, if I am getting ready for the day there she is sleeping on the bathroom floor right next to me. I love this little girl!
Playing with Dink dad.

Sleepy-Head

This is Betty. Michael named her after Betty White because she's all white.
She's just like her mommy, a little shy and timid. But once she gets to know you she'll just give you kiss's for days!
This is when her eyes opened.

This is Pepper. She is the runt of the litter, short squatie legs and a little tiny head and body. Even though she's the runt she's strong. She can hold down her monster brother. And we're so lucky because Pepper is staying in the family! She'll be living with Michael's parents and I know she will be WELL taken care of.

I couldn't get a picture with her mouth open but she was howling when I put her in her cage.

And lastly we have the big brother Chomper (he will chew anything, include your chin if you're trying to hold him). He is seriously so much bigger than his sisters. He is almost 1/2 the size of Dixie. And his head is huge! But he does have the cutest teddy bear face. It's so hard to take pictures of him because of how active he is.

Well that's all our cute little puppies. It's been fun watching them grow and being able to play with them everyday. I will miss them tons when they find their new homes :(

I know it's sad that I am posting about puppies instead of something about my life, but these puppies were my life for the last 2 months :) Hopefully something exciting will happen soon so I can post about it!

It's Fun To Be Married To A Geek

About a month ago we were able to go see some cool animals. A teacher that works with Michael knows a guy that owns some crazy animals. He needed some work done on his computer so Michael agreed to work on his computer if we could see his animals. It was pretty fun!!! We got to feed elephants carrots and watermelon, man they eat fast! (Elephant on left used to be one of Michael Jackson's elephants at Neverland Ranch.) Their trunks are very hairy and the hair is very stiff like wire.

Next we went to go see the tiger Asia. She was very playful. She liked to hide in her cement tube and peek out at us to make sure we were still paying attention to her. Michael really wanted to pet her but the guy said it wasn't a very good idea, a little disappointing but very understandable. She was a very big kitty!

We also go to meet Spike the Rhino. He really wanted to get out of his cage. His skin was hard and rough except right under his arms and it was super soft. He was very thirsty, he was drinking faster than the hose could go.

We got to meet three ca-pu-chin monkeys. (For some reason we only got pictures of two though.) I didn't think I would like the monkeys very much but they were cute! They would hold out their hand for us to pet them and then they would hold hands with us. The girl monkey, the second picture, was the cutest. She would bob her head back and forth until I did the same. She was very playful.

We also got to see a crane, some pelicans, an ostrich, and rattlesnakes. All the animals were amazing to see and be so close to. We had a blast and wish we could see the animals everyday.

December Already

It is hard to believe that it is December already. A lot of time has passed since the last time we did a post. We are excited for our first Christmas together as a married couple. We have our first tree and get to play the game of which family at which time. Our first tree is nice. We thank Target and Dad Andreasen for that. Just a side note for everyone, if you are going to put a tree on top of a car be sure to wear eye protection, pine needles stuck in the eyes hurt really bad. When we got our tree home we put it into the stand that Dad Poulsen gave to us. It sat that way for a while until I decided to put the lights on, we ended up not having enough and had to make a run to Target once again. After the lig
hts came the ornaments, after a few day delay. Now we have a fully decorated Christmas Tree.

This is our tree and here are a few more pictures of us with our tree....

We like having the tree in our home and all the Christmas spirit it brings, not to mention the nice Pine Tree Air Freshener we have in our home. We hope everyone else likes it too.

We got to go to Disneyland on Friday and had a lot of fun
looking at all the Christmas decorations and w
atching the fireworks. Here we are in front of a nice tree at Disneyland. It was pretty crowded at Disneyland with it being a Friday and being Christmas time. We got to go on a lot of rides and the lines weren't too bad. We had fun on the new Toy Story Mania ride but we won't get into who had the higher score. Mr. Potato Head did talk to us. He tried to get my attention then when I didn't look at him he called me a "hockey puck" and told us our wait time was going to be 30 to 40 minutes. Once we finished at California Adventure we headed over to Disneyl
and and waited in one of the longest lines of the day just to get into the park. It moved fast and we headed into the park. We started to get tired of the crowds and decided we wanted to do a little shopping and then hit the road. We started looking through the shops hoping to find a cute holiday decoration for our house. We saw a few things that we liked but nothing really jumped out at us. We were leaving one store and Kori said "Why don't they have anything cute....LIKE THAT!!!!" She saw some Jingle Bell Mickey and Minnie Tree ornaments. We rushed back into the store and looked all over
but couldn't find them. We asked a really nice lady who worked there if she knew where they were and she helped us look around a little before she told us that it looked like they were out but we should try across the street. We eagerly
went across the street hoping for some better luck. We saw all kinds of ornaments but not the ones we were looking for. Then we spotted them, we had just gone in the wrong door. We went up and grabbed some before we continued to shop. Once we were done we bought the few ornaments we had selected and headed outside just in time to catch the firework show and the Snow on Main Street.
We watched the fireworks and decided that we were tired so we headed home for some needed sleep.

That Special Day

It was early in the afternoon on April 8th when I had the opportunity to enter into the St. George Temple for the first time. It seemed like it took forever to finally get everything going. I remember the moments right before the sealing took place. Sitting there in the temple surrounded by family and friends but most importantly the girl that would soon become my wife and make my life complete. Sitting there was hard, I wanted to get up and get married already but I knew that it would all come in time. Once we were finally able to kneel across from one another it seemed to go by in an instant and the next thing I knew I was married to the most amazing girl in the world. We exchanged rings and received congratulations from all of those who came to witness our special day then it was time to change clothes. We parted for a short while and when all things were said and done we emerged from the temple, this time as Mr. and Mrs. Andreasen

We shared our first kiss as we walked out the doors and were greeted by our family and friends. Then the pictures started coming. It was a great opportunity for me to be close to Kori. We stayed around the temple for a few hours just taking pictures and enjoying the experience we had just had when two lives were joined together never to be separated. The wedding party joined us as we took our pictures and I have heard someone say of that party that if it weren't for Kori wearing that white dress you would be hard pressed to tell if this was a wedding or and international sexy-people festival but I will let all of you decide for yourselves.

I for one agree with what was said, especially when I look at the pretty girl in the middle. All in all it was an amazing day for us and I can't wait to get the rest of the pictures so that I can share even more of it with all of you.

Just A Little Addition

Well Michael pretty much said everything but I just wanted to add that he is such a wonderful guy that always takes care of me. I love the time we are able to spend together because we always have fun with whatever we are doing. I love Michael so much and nothing will ever change that. He means everything to me and I can’t even imagine living without him. He makes my life a lot better because he always encourages me to do my best. Hopefully soon we can put up pictures from our wedding and reception so everyone can see how happy we are when we’re together.

The Beginning

Now that I have started the beginning of my eternity with the most wonderful person in the world, my wife Kori, I wanted to start a blog that we could use to stay in touch with everyone and let them know what is going on in our lives.
As most of you know we started our life together on April 8th 2008 in the St. George temple when we were sealed for time and eternity. I'm not one to get very emotional but I will admit that there were a few times that day when I had tears come to my eyes as I realized I was being sealed to the person I love the most in the whole world for time and for all of eternity. It is a very exciting time for both of us right now. We are still trying to get settled into our room and hope that we can do that soon so that we are able to have some form of normalcy come into our lives. We are both very excited to start our lives together and look forward to the challenges and exciting times that await us as a married couple. Right now I don't have any pictures of our wedding or our reception on my computer so those will have to come with time. Once I get them I will post again to let you all see how wonderful our special day was.
